Awar Biong

Awar collaborates with faculty, trainees, and international partners to support the design, implementation, and improvement of clinically oriented global health education programing. She oversees program operations, cross-site coordination, and trainee tracking. 

She holds an MSc in Global Health Delivery with a concentration in Gender, Sexual, and Reproductive Health from the University of Global Health Equity and a BA in Biology from the University of Virginia. At the center of her professional interests is the intersection of health and human rights among populations in the global periphery.
